working with the image of the face/sculpture was fun

the third face I added came from an image of a Bronze face from a wall at the new FDR Memorial in Washington, D.C.

mannequins always get me too... when I see a new pic of one to use, its near impossible to resist—like a good eyeball...

I had a good start on some new stuff this morning... and had one of those [rare] crashes... damn, I hate when that happens...

I'm like that with amnnequins too, I'm oddly drawn to them right away... nice work, love the positive/negative thing going one there & the use of silhouetting - and great composition.

I must admit to having an affinity towards mannequins (mebe because of the film with
Kim Catrall, who knows) - but it's getting out of hand now, and people are giving me
strange looks when I have a grope in department stores =p

aaah i hate that too! i can never quite recreate whatever i lost in the crash exactly either, drives me nuts... though sometimes the results end up better for it, and sometimes not

as for the mannequins, I get most all of my stock images from the Stock.XCHNG...

I was just going to mention that Chelle is perhaps more fond of the Morguefile
I know shes quite a great photographer and has been posting lots of images there...
to my surprize, a quick search of the Morguefiles for "mannequin" images brings up quite a number of Chelle's own photos...

amazed again!
