birdless Can anyone translate this?

Hi all. Since our community here is international, I thought I would post this for a fellow member from another forum I frequent. It came in a black envelope with a blue wax seal and no return address. Anyone have any idea what it says? If I were to guess, I would say it's some exposition on noses.

Icculus

thai maybe?

birdless

Ooh. I didn't think of that! It definitely isn't Japanese, and I'm pretty sure it isn't Chinese. It looks as Arabic as it does Oriental. I thought perhaps Korean, but I'd go with your guess over Korean.

X-DUD!!!11~~

Naw, Korean is more ovals and lines. That's some fugged-up shit right there ^

papaya nirvana

it looks like a page out of "How to Draw Cartoon Noses"

It's a brochure for a plastic surgeon in your area. His specialty is noses of course.

DontBogartMe

that language is made up of little penises, not noses.

Were there any orange pips with the note? </holmes>

bit-101

showed to my wife, who is japanese. it's not japanese, not chinese. she thinks it's just made up characters that try to look like japanese / chinese, but maybe indonesian or something.

etc. and so on.

Icculus

definitely not Korean, thinking Southeast Asian or some form of Arabic.

arigato

I'm going to guess Malay. It's a modified arabic script.

malaysian-info.com/language.html

But it looks like something else mixed in, kind of hard to recognize being all calligraphic n' shit.
Even the text on the seal is pretty wack.

It gets weirder... there are quite a few of these going out.

And this site that shows 4 variations (and nothing else): chishio.jp/

The prevailing guess is that it's some viral marketing campaign... pretty cool if it is.

arigato

Ok, I have to admit, that is pretty cool.

Anyone else notice the similarity between the seal shape, and the shape of the country, Thailand?
