So are there any poker players here?

I used to play a bit of poker ( for a bit of money) with friends. But you know how it goes; friends get children, work consumes the time,... so a 2-weekly event turned into a once in 6 month event.

These days i play a bit of poker on partypoker.com I started with "virtual money" games and since a month or 2 ago i deposited 50 USD which turned into 183 USD by now.

N-gen plays, pretty good too.

I play every couple of months with friends, Texas Hold'em, strictly low-stakes for fun. There are a couple of people who come who also play regularly in casinos or pub tournaments, but I don't think any of us is going to get rich on it...

i used to play quite a bit. i hadn't played in a few years until last month. i played in a friendly tournament in austin, ended up 3rd.... my wife got 2nd!

I play just about every evening...

Had a get-together last weekend. I was on fire, rocked at Hold'em and then it was just me and one other guy left at Omaha (which I never play so I was just winging it), big blinds and some huge pots. I reckon I could've taken it but by 3:30am I just couldn't stay awake any more so we agreed to split it.

I play poker once a month, we mix it up with hold'em and guts (two card poker). Guts can get a little pricey because if you go in and lose then you have to replace the pot, so if three people go in the pot doubles and so on. I won 600 bones the last time I played Which probably means I'll lose some money tomorrow night when we play

Now that I'm off the dole, I've started playing more games.
