While visiting his cousins, Joe was subjected to something called Epic Movie. He has been sad and subdued all day and tells me that this movie has created a "stain on his soul."

Joe and I have watched Alien and Aliens. We've watched Poltergeist. We've watched Moster-a-go-go and The Giant Claw and Yor, Hunter from the Future. We've watched some scary shit and some truly horrible shit, but I've never seen him so upset by a movie. He's got the thousand yard stare of a first-time goatse viewer.

Clearly, this movie is pretty fucking terrible.

Epic Movie was shit.. though not as shit as Disaster Movie. I really don't see why people bother to make crap like this.

I was also expecting Hell Ride to be a lot better than the try hard pulp fiction wannabe it ended up being.

Joe watched The Fall right? surely that balances things out a little?

Watched The Happening last night.

Sucks the proverbial cock. in the arse in the neck, hard.

Ironically, he did not watch The Fall, as it's rated R for some reason, and I don't let him watch R movies unless I've seen them first. Now that I've seen it, I don't know why it's rated R and would certainly let him watch it.

This afternoon I asked him what was wrong, as he was clearly upset, and he said, "I don't feel like talking right now." Let me say, that's unheard of. Joe has NEVER not felt like talking. Ever. It'd be like Stinky not wanting a drink or something.

Looks like Joe has realized too early on what the lowest common denominator considers entertainment.

I saw The Invasion on HBO recently, what a piece of crap.

I watched a movie called The Devil's Chair last night.

It sucked ass.

Clearly you've never watched Even Cowgirls Get The Blues. Who would've thought that a movie starring Uma Thurman as a lesbian with a giant thumbs could be so awful?

I tend to fall asleep in front of bad films or end up doing something else.. Two recent ones off the BBC site:

Started chatting online through "Unfaithful" and decided to kill it half way through.

I feel asleep during "My Best Friend" so I guess it was not so good?

Generally I am very fussy about films and most I feel are a waste of my time, and really lost interest in most 'hollywood' type films.

I haven't seen it recently, and I'll never watch it the whole way through I'm sure, but absolutely hands-down the worst movie I've ever seen was Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever starring Antonio Banderas and Lucy Liu. Horrible, horrible, horrible film.

This film would have to scale a cliff before reaching the level of plot intricacies and intelligence that just thrive in Michael Bay films.

When it first came out I thought it was a decent, mindless John Woo action flick.

But it was on the other day, and I immediately got that dirty feeling for ever having liked it in the first place.

I watched Transformers the other night and PRAYED TO GHAD that Michael Bay would stop making movies.

They're all the fucking same.

John Woo kinda stopped. Why won't Bay?!

Because he keeps making shitloads of money for himself and the studio.

There was a sequel to the Cell - I bet that's a safe bet for crap movie.
